Microsoft has announced CRM 2015 on 16th September, 2014. CRM 2015 will be available publicly by the end of this year. An excerpt from MSDN –

Here is a quick overview of the functionality that will be included in this powerful release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Dynamics Marketing:
- Sales and Marketing Collaboration: Strengthen your marketing and sales synergies with the new Sales Collaboration Panel which provides sales reps with unprecedented access to the marketing calendar and campaigns, as well as the ability to provide input into campaigns and targeting.
- For Marketers:
o Multi-channel campaigns: Streamline campaign creation and improve segmentation with graphical email editing, A/B and split testing, integrated offers and approval workflows.
o B2B Marketing: Deepen your lead management capabilities with webinar integration and improved lead scoring, including the ability to introduce multiple lead scoring models.
o Marketing Resource Management: Gain unprecedented visibility into your marketing plan with the new Interactive Marketing Calendar and improve collaborative marketing with Lync click to call and webinars.
o New Languages: Japanese, Russian
- For Salespeople:
o Product Families: Boost selling effectiveness with the ability to bundle products and recommend related products for cross-sell/up-sell. Simplify and minimize product management with dynamic product attributes.

- For Customer service:
o Case Management: Enable agents to provide differentiated levels of support with flexible SLAs. Gain insight into service effectiveness with the ability to track and analyze key metrics like SLAs and thresholds.
The press announcement on September 16 will be the kickoff in a series of carefully orchestrated moments throughout H1 on the lead up to general availability in December 2014. This steady drumbeat of activities will gain us attention, press coverage, and most importantly help us drive leads. It includes our CRM presence at Convergence EMEA in November where we will demonstrate the true power of this release as well as hear our customers talk about how Microsoft Dynamics CRM is helping them reach their business goals.
CRM 2015 will be available online, as well as on-premises. Although, as with any release, the availability date and scope is subject to change, we are announcing that this will be available by the end of the calendar year. The 2015 update will follow the customer driven update (CDU) process for Microsoft Dynamics CRM and a similar scheduled upgrade process for Microsoft Dynamics Marketing. We will go through the details of the upgrade processes in the All Field Roles call.
